Supplying power to the AGL Expedition vehicle's kitchen and lights

Energy and Storage Off-grid

We supplied the African Great Lakes Expedition vehicle with a 350W LG mono black-black PV module and Allgrand PV gel batteries. The system supplies power to the fridge and microwave in the mobile kitchen, located in the trailer. It also supplies other electrical loads, such as lights.

While the car is driving, the batteries are charged by the alternator. When it’s stationary, the PV panel and inverter take over the charging. This means the batteries will always be charged when needed.
